Mark is a free-lance performance designer and teaches sculpture in Bachelor of Design, Ara He has designed for all the major theatre companies, Arts Festivals and Opera Companies throughout New Zealand and has designed for the Melbourne Arts Festival, Australia. Mark has also taken part in the Prague Quadrennial for Performance Design and Space. Mark’s particular design focus in the last fifteen years has been his design collaboration with Maori and Pacific island theatre practitioners.
